“Mud season” A time of year when all the wintry goodness has had enough, and it’s time to melt. Gates close, businesses go on break, and spring cleaning kicks off as we await the start of the busy season!  But don’t be fooled, mud season isn’t a bad time to come visit! It’s simply the best time of year to spot a Moose, our number 1 most popular thing for visitors to see! Fishing is also another great reason to come and link up with one of our regional Maine Guides to try your luck at ice out or Spring Fly fishing trips!

Peace – There are not a lot of bugs, or people for that matter. Solitude is at large this time of year! By Mid-May the Loons should start singing their song again, too. One of the more peaceful experiences in nature.

Outdoor opportunities – While our trails and dirt roads may still be drying up, this is a great time of year to break out the paddling equipment again!

Dark Sky Experiences – Spring is one of the best times of year to see the northern lights! They were active twice this past weekend to kick the first days of the season off.

With loads of peace, abundant wildlife experiences, and miles and miles of nature around us, you won’t find a big mall, chain stores or late-night eats, but we’ve got some trusty partners to take care of your needs.

Write us if you decide to come up and play this Spring season!
