The Arts
Monson Pottery, which is a teaching and retail venue for functional and sculptural ceramics. It’s second floor exhibition space hosts shows by artists with strong connections to Maine. Jemma Gascoine is always on hand to talk about the art work.’
The Gallery is run by the year-round international arts residency program, Monson Arts and features work by Maine-based artists.
The Historical Museum displays examples of work by the nationally renowned Seth Steward, Carl Springhorn and Alan Bray and the internationally renowned photographer Berenice Abbot, as well as examples of wood and slate artifacts that the region is famed for.

Monson General Store is exactly what a small town store should be. It is managed by locals who will make you feel at home as soon as you enter the door. Find local food specialties and crafts as well a gourmet deli. Find your lunch spot under an umbrella overlooking the lake on the patio.
Turning Page Farm Brewery– A Small Town/Small Batch brewery and goat dairy. Enjoy your beer in the greenhouse tasting room or the beer garden overlooking the goat pastures. The small menu includes beer bratwurst and their own goat cheeses. You will be served by the owners; Tim brews the beer and Joy makes the goat cheese; all on site. Sat-Sun 12-6

Store: We sell maps, guidebooks, postcards, A.T. passports, and A.T. souvenirs. We offer a limited supply of hiking gear as well.
