Moosehead Marine Museum’s primary exhibit is the Steamship Katahdin, a 100-plus-year-old steamboat that used to carry people and cargo on Moosehead Lake. We offer daily narrated cruises from June – Columbus Day. There is a full galley aboard the Katahdin selling sandwiches and refreshments as well as a small gift shop. The shoreside museum has a small exhibit room and a gift shop.
Katahdin Cruises and the Moosehead Marine Museum offer a glimpse into the glorious days of steamboating and the heritage of the Moosehead Lake Region.
