HOW TO APPLY FOR A HUNTING LICENSE
Be sure that you have a hunting license and an up-to-date hunting regulation book from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife. You may also visit this website to apply for special hunting permits. Resident and Non-Resident licenses are available at many area establishments as well. Moosehead Marine Museum
Moosehead Marine Museum’s primary exhibit is the Steamship Katahdin, a 100-plus-year-old steamboat that used to carry people and cargo on Moosehead Lake. We offer daily narrated cruises from June – Columbus Day. There is a full galley aboard the Katahdin selling sandwiches and refreshments as well as a small gift shop. The shoreside museum has a small exhibit room and a gift shop.

Stress Free Moose is a locally owned and operated pub on the shores of Moosehead Lake. We offer a full line of spirits, a diverse number of red & white wines, as well as beer on tap from multiple local breweries. Come dive into our delicious pub grub, while listening to live entertainment on our outside deck and patio areas or in one of our three indoor dining sections.
