| History by the Lake: Harris Drug Store — 130 Years on Main Street Thursday, July 2, 4:00 – 5:00 PM. This is a free event Center for Moosehead History. When Isaac Augustus Harris purchased a small pharmacy from Dr. Hiram Hunt in Greenville in 1896, he launched what would become one of the longest-running family businesses in Maine. This year marks 130 years of Harris Drug Store serving the Moosehead community. Join us as we trace four generations of the Harris family story, with Michael and Lisa Harris on hand to share their own memories and answer questions. |
