Meet the Artist and wine tasting.
Please join us May 1st 4-6 PM at the Monson Gallery Store as we feature David Smus. He grew up in rural Maine, David combined his love of art and the outdoors, during his early years as a licensed taxidermist. After earning a degree in Wildlife Management at U Maine, he surrendered to his heart and chose art as his vocation. Beginning as a wood-carver, he ultimately chose lost-wax bronze as his medium.
His limited-edition sculptures and commissioned works have won him wide acclaim and many 1st Place and Best-In-Show awards at prestigious juried shows. But for David, one of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist is raising funds with his sculptures for charitable institutions and conservation organizations. “It’s a way to give back and come full-circle in my original commitment to help wildlife and the environment with my life”

For our wine tasting this month we will be getting ready for summer, featuring Sangria from Mia. We will be serving Red and White Sangria their sangrias are ready to drink, right out of the bottle. So you can enjoy a delicious, real fruit sangria anytime!
