Meet the Artist and Wine Tasting @ Monson General Store

Please join us Dec 5th 4-6 PM at the Monson Gallery Store as we feature Monson artist Belle Bozin a Monson native. Her art is inspired by a deep connection to the local landscape. In 2020 Belle started a creative journey using epoxy resin to craft “River Boards,” an art form that combines rocks from nearby rivers and streams with wood produced by Dauphinee Lumber Mill in Willimantic. The mixed media practice is an expression of twin passions-being in nature and creating art. Each piece represents a celebration of the region’s terrain and rustic beauty.

For our tasting this month we will be featuring two different wines. For the holidays we are tasting Gluhwein, Gerstacker Bavaria. The tradition of this mulled wine comes from the Nürnberg Christkindl- Market, Germany’s most famous Christmas market, which is visited every year by millions of people. The recipe for these wines dates back hundreds of years and it is still being produced according to old-world tradition to this day.
Also Ice Cider is a premium dessert style cider that makes a delicious ending to any meal! We’ve been making world class ice ciders here in far Northern Vermont since the harvest of 2007.
