Save the Date – July 11 & 12, 2026

 Annual Meeting & Camp Days,   Annual Meeting July 11, 2026, 10 am to Noon  33 Johnson Road Lower Wilson Pond Greenville, Me.  Camp Days Noon to 4pm  BBQ, Scavenger Hunt, Games.    All are welcome!  Featuring a talk by Denise McKenney about the history of the McKenney Camp.

 Denise McKenney is our speaker for the Friends of Wilson Ponds Annual Meeting and has been working on Wilson Pond history and the history of the camps on Lower and Upper Wilson Ponds.

Denise writes:  “Our camp was built in 1938. and the McKenney family has been in Greenville since the early 1920’s. I have searched, in vain, to find the source the name Wilson. I would like camp owners to share any history or stories about their camps and the area. Looking forward to meeting all of you at the Annual meeting.”
