Little Lyford Lodge & Cabins
September 19, 2026
Ride to the finish line of the AMC 150 Relay on a scenic bikepacking adventure through the 100‑Mile Wilderness. Community members are welcome to gather at Medawisla Lodge & Cabins to celebrate the end of our journey and honor 150 years of AMC’s outdoor legacy.
Come celebrate the final leg of the AMC150 anniversary bikepacking on gravel roads. We will start at Little Lyford Lodge and bikepack to Medawisla Lodge on dirt roads. This will be a scenic bike ride through the Northern Forest within the 100 Mile Wilderness. Plans will be to take a lunch break along the way and to stay overnight in a co-ed bunkhouse at Medawisla Lodge. On Sunday we will bikepack back to Little Lyford Lodge.
This will be a strenuous bikepacking trip carrying our own gear in panniers. Everyone should be in good physical condition with the ability to complete the bike ride. You may use a mountain bike or gravel bike on this event. Everyone must wear bright clothing, a helmet and have a spare tire tube along with some basic bike maintenance tools. Please bring sleeping gear, extra clothing, plenty of water, snacks for energy, lunch, sunscreen and have the map downloaded onto your smartphone to use offline.

About AMC150 Relay:
Since 1876, AMC has connected people to the outdoors through recreation, education, and conservation. In 2026, we celebrate 150 years of that legacy with the AMC 150th Relay—a 1,500-mile journey from Virginia to Maine. Each leg of the relay contributes to a continuous route across the Northeast, highlighting the diversity of AMC’s outdoor legacy. Join the celebration by participating in a relay segment, attending a local event, or sharing your AMC story. Together, we will honor the past and shape the future of outdoor adventure.
