Welcome to Allagash Canoe Trips and our 2026 summer canoe trip season!

It’s always best to talk with us first before signing up for a trip. We are always happy to answer your questions to make sure you choose a trip that best fits your needs.  When you’re ready to sign up for a trip, click on date, fill out an on line trip application and submit it to us.  We will respond and send you a confirmation packet with info to help plan your trip. Sending us a deposit will secure your spot on that trip. Maximize your experience… Engage in a fitness plan, get some paddling instruction, spend some paddling a canoe BEFORE your trip!

The Bonaventure River flows out of the Chic Choc Mountains of the Gaspé Peninsula in the province of Quebec, and its upper course cuts swiftly through hillsides, producing a surprise around every corner. Its remarkable, crystal-clear water and cobblestone river bed combine with forested banks to produce deep emerald green color as the river hurries to meet the sea. We follow this trip with a hike in the Chic Choc Mountains with chances to see caribou above the timberline. This trip is for the hardy canoeist with very good whitewater skills. Trip needs 4 person minimum.
