1st Annual Rockwood Wooden Canoe Rendevous
Hundreds of canoes were all built locally here in Rockwood, Maine by Mert Comstock & Fred Reckards. This is a 1st Annual, casual get together of the many proud owners that still hold a piece of Rockwood’s boat building history.
WHERE: Maynard’s Waterfront, come by water or by road
WHEN: Sunday, September 20th, 10am
Boaters may participate in a motor/paddle convoy to the Comstock/Reckards canoe shop, ending at The Birches Resort on Moosehead Lake.
